How to channelize power of strong urges into good things ??

    I am currently on day 8 of my nofap journey. There are times when I feel extremely horny and have strong urges. At those times I just close every gadget and start walking in my room or sit at a place. Even tough urges fade out in few mins I have always felt the urge is still present within me. I recently read that suppressing your urges doesn't help since they will return back with more power and strength. So my question is, how to transfer the power of strong PM urges into something productive?
    I would like to hear opinion from you guys.

    sexual energy is basically what drives you and the release of semen drains it
    suppressing the urge does not suppress the energy, but it's a mental block....look deeper to discover what exactly is causing the urge, in my case it was childhood trauma and my hatred towards my mother, so my recovery process involves dealing with that resentment and hatred towards my parents, which is where it all started
    so, opening the mental channels is key, otherwise the urges will keep returning, because you are still stuck in these old thinking cycles....it's how you view life in general, your paradigm must change

    Meditate often at different intervals throughout the day. Do kegels and visualize the energy rising up to your brain and saying an affirmation of two as you breath in and out. Every 3 hours I do a 30 minute meditation for transmuting sexual energy. It works wonders for keeping me calm and collected when an urge really occurs
