NoFap And Gym Gains?

Do You Notice Better Gym Gains/Performance On Nofap?

    I feel that whenever I am on a long streak, which by my standards is anything over two weeks or so, that I can do more reps when working out, and I notice that my muscles seem more defined and toned. This is due to the fact that NoFap boosts your testosterone which is essential for muscle gains. You also are not losing nutrients that you lose when you fap, such as Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D etc. Also, I feel that I get better quality sleep when on NoFap which is key to building muscle.

    Anyone else notice this?

    I agree in everything you said, I'm really new to NoFap, and I've only been practicing it for a few months but I've noticed that I gain a lot more lean muscle, and get better training sessions when I'm on it.
    My muscles are full, and I can recover faster, three days is enough for FULL recovery in each muscle group even with bad sleeping schedule due to exams and university.
    I should add that I'm using Zinc 25 mg every day, not counting calories but getting enough protein and abstaining from junk food.
    NoFap combined with strength & hypertrophy workouts and good supplementation (vitamins, minerals and protein) are the key to good testosterone levels.
    Keep the work and congratulations on your 48 days brother.

    I definetelly seen an increase in strength,and the obly thing i changed was the nofap,diet sleep was all the same..ao in my case nofap helped in the gym
     
  4. Here is a link to a video that I find provides some good info on this topic. I've watched a lot of his videos and he provides solid fitness advice.



    He makes some good points that include:
    * watching porn is not good for your psychological health (I think we can all agree to that)
    * porn masterbation can effect your motivation level (this definitely happened to me)
    * loss of time watching excessive porn (porn was a huge time loss for me)

    Starting NoFap and giving up PMO, I did see results in the gym.
    1. Could it be an increased testosterone level? Yes.
    2. Could it be a better mental focus and motivation at the gym? Yes.
    3. Could it be that the time I did not watch porn was used better in the gym? Yes

    I personally think it's really a combination of all 3.

    With all that said, if you're staying PMO free and seeing results in the gym, that is all that really matters. So keep up the great work.
     
  5. When I think about my own experience and circumstances, this theory would make sense. I relapse 2-3 times a week and my quality of sleep is horrible and I have a hard time building muscle regardless of whether I work out or not. It's just been the case for a while at this point.

    I would say it does make a difference, but overall, alot of it is just due to your sleep, diet, and actual working out.
