Hi guys I'm on day 400 of the hard mode and I'm wondering why I have no interest in dating yet...I don't feel much for women and I have a low libido...I don't take any drugs or smoke or drink alcohol.. What I do that I eat healthy... I have a job and it's not difficult for me to work, I work with pleasure... the interesting thing is that I had very few good days when I could say that I had libido and felt attraction to women... it seems that the flat line never ends..

Congratulations! Day 400 is pretty big streak!
How did you reached here? I always dream about such big streaks but I couldn't even go beyond 20 days.

Do you feel depressed or social anxiety? Do you feel like you are always low on motivation? Do you have mood swings or poor memory? If you have answered yes to most of this questions then you might have PAWS (Post Acute Withdraw Syndrome) or some other underlying issue. I am not a medical expert but I guess you should check out more info about PAWS. It can last 1 to 2 years.

Thank you, I tried for two years and didn't go over 120 days because of smoking weed and eating junk food..try no drugs no alcohol + cold showers + keto diet and you will definitely succeed... if it worked for me can you too... many people think that diet has no effect but it has a huge effect in my case... what else can I say I feel social anxiety and depression but 70% less than before nofap but it's still hard for me to start a conversation with a woman I don't feel it no real attraction as I should... in other areas I function normally and I almost don't feel anxiety in new social situations maybe a little... my motivation may fluctuate some days it's more and some days it's less, but my memory is very good... I read it for paws, I definitely have it and I hope it leaves me soon...

Did you ever have brain fog? If so, has it ever improved for you?

@Roberto92, thanks for sharing your story. It's good learn what to expect after a long hard mode. There are too many myth around nofap. I'm glad someone is ready to verify some facts.

Keep going man. I read a post from someone on reddit yesterday who said he flatlined for 700 days but then came out of it, he's not the longest flatline case either but this is just the reality of the situation now. Long gone are the days of 90 days being enough for the majority.

I started because the social anxiety was really bad...I had panic attacks everywhere I went..also my life was hell..my only regret is that I didn't find the reasons for my problems sooner

My anxiety at the very beginning was like a cold slab of iron on my back. It was last year. I'm not sure if I made much progress in nofap as my streak is pathetically short or non-existent. Yet, I was able to increase the number of clean non-consecutive days to 143 last year, which is my personal best. Also I read several good psychological books and actually applied some of the knowledge they conveyed, which allowed me not to suffer self-hatred and self-blame after each relapse. So last year was not wasted but I'm still far from feeling healed.

Did you have more anxiety around women than in other social situations? Unfortunately, recovery takes a long time, especially for those who have been in this hell for many years...in my opinion, recovery is significantly longer because we live in a time of super stimulation of the dopamine flood...we have food that is very tasty (high stimulation) we have the internet , smart phones, social networks (high stimulation), we have music that we can listen to and choose and listen to what we like endlessly (high stimulation) we have a whole bunch of video games that we can play all day long (High stimulation) we have drugs, alcohol, gambling, tv, porn, we masturbate excessively or have too much sex, we live in an excessive period zone which is again high stimulation... In my opinion, we would heal much sooner if we stayed away from these super stimulating things... in short, no internet, no smartphone, no music, no games, no TV, no drugs, no alcohol, no sugar, no carbohydrates (keto diet), with occasional multi-day fasts, with cold showers, with high-intensity and trainings, with nofap... I'm trying hard myself, but I haven't tried without internet and phone yet, but I'm planning to...
