Need help from suicidal thoughts

    You can enjoy life to the fullest without porn, and suicide should not be considered as an option because there is so much to live for!

    I know it sounds simple…but try this: sometimes when you are overwhelmed and stressed with the anxieties and burdens of your struggle with porn and all the looming thoughts that come your way in solving it by ending your life, just walk outside and close your eyes and breath in and breathe out slowly. Just observe the sounds of the outside world and relish them. Look up at the night or day sky and marvel. Look at the trees and bushes. Look at the people, if they’re any around. Listen to all the sounds around you. Smell whatever is in the air and feel the chilly wind on your hands or the warm sun on your face.

    Become aware of all that is happening outside your mind and don’t be so consumed with what’s going on inside your head. Accept the things you can’t control but choose to focus, relish, enjoy, and look foward to the things that you can control.

    You may not control the thoughts and desires that come into your mind, but you can choose what to do with them; whether to discard them and set your mind on all the good & beautiful things that you’ve been blessed with in this life.

    Don’t live inside your head. There is more to life than what your mind creates.

    I don't know exact reason brother. But today I'm feeling better.

  5. If you don’t know what triggers you have, then just record on paper or up here in this forum the next time you feel the sensations and feelings that bring you into that negative state of mind. The point is to identify what causes or triggers your bad habit of going down that dark hole. Sometimes it’s a specific type of stress, or a person, or a desire to “reward oneself” or whatever. Everybody has different triggers.

    But when one identifies what usually triggers them, they can more intentionally and proactively fight off that urge to move towards or stay in that environment. Or even make a game plan about how to avoid or fight off those triggers and have an accountability partner hold them to it, so that they aren’t left with themselves.

    Don’t try to do it on your own. Bring others into this fight, it’ll make it all the more feasible.
