Seems that this is our world in a nutshell. Manufacturing desires to increase your market. I suppose the preference for a shaved woman could have some degree of innateness to it, to the extent that preference for shaved women has been socialized into our culture, and you can't really "reboot" from your own culture unless you decide to becomes a monk/nun or live in a cave. However I have talked to several women about shaving down there and many of them said it was uncomfortable, especially during sex, and that they just did it because they didn't think they would be appealing to their boyfriends if they didn't. Which makes me ask: are we putting women through unnecessary suffering by preferring them to be shaved down there?
I go back to what I have been saying in this thread before: what is natural is best. Quite honestly, I think body hair is hot!
Yes that's just it. I personally want a natural looking woman. Women in Tv, commercials and Porn look so plastic, so unnatural. I don't like the look of fake boobs, fake lips, shaved and excess make up. It doesn't look like a real woman to me. Women are beautiful without all of these unnatural adjustments. Society expects women to look like porn stars and models and men to look like body builders. No doubt industry had a lot of influence on this to make people buy shit they don't need. So yes I agree, body hair is hot. btw. Can't imagine how uncomfortable it must be to shave the crack.
I agree @Red Eagle that fake whatever, make-up, even jewellery detracts from the natural beauty of men and women. Oh yeah - eww! I just use wet toilet wipes - simples!
I have long hair on my head which I love and have no intention of getting rid of it. By long I mean shoulder length (almost). I shave my face because I think people my age (16) look weird with facial hair. Arm pits I leave because they aren't too hairy. I shave my pubic region. Not because a partner or anything (I'm single) but because I think it feels cleaner. I am considering growing out the hairs on my crotch and just trimming them but I'll still shave my balls. Legs and chest I leave because I'm not very hairy, I have virtually no chest hair and my leg hair (which isn't too long) doesn't bother me. My hair on my head is my favourite part of my appearance.
OMG I havent read something so funny in a long time. Its hilarious reading what guys think about shaving lol. I'm def. going to follow this thread lol.
Ha. If you must know I don't really have a lot of pubic hair "down there" naturally yet. I've never had to shave it to wear a bikini in public, etc. If I had a lot I would probably shave it, idk...ive never tried it yet. I'm 14...almost 15, so I guess its something I'll have to figure out later in life. I do shave my legs and armpits though.
Honestly though for girls I think its is more expected socially to shave, at least armpits and legs. Most girls...that I've seen anyway in real life.....don't shave down below, but that is probably because I'm younger. I know from watching P it seems all girls do. I think I'd feel weird if someone saw me in public with hairy legs or armpits lol.
Good for you, don't feel like you have to shave it. I choose to cause I think it feels better but to each his/her own.
Ha, ha I think that is more socially normal but if you don't want to don't. If you do, do. I'm only a couple of years older than you and in my opinion, I think girls look good with shaved legs. I've never had sex but I wouldn't care if the girl I was with shaved or didn't, it's up to each person
This thread is bizarre. Personally I would question why the he'll it matters? Some people are saying they couldn't bear to be with a woman who was unshaven. You're actually telling me that if the most stunning woman in the world wanted to be with you, you'd actually force her to shave! Thats messed up dude. You do realize that people you want to have sex with are actual human beings? Its their choice how they trim the Bush (or not) just in the same way it's your choice to shave yours. Personally I find that if you're in a relationship you often don't give a toss whether they're perfectly groomed or not. I think men and women are way too obsessed with looks these days. Everyone's different though I guess. I honestly couldn't give a monkeys if my partner shaved or not. That's up to him.
I agree, I shave/trim myself but if I was with a girl it wouldn't matter whether she shaved, trimmed or she was trying to replicate the Amazonian rainforest. In the end it's just hair.
Ok, I'll step in. I shave my body hair, just because I personally find pubic and armpit hair gross, and I don't like the feeling of pubic hair. As for facial hair, I like to go between a clean shave, and a bit of stubble, though I'm no stranger to going full Lumberjack (like now). My beard only bothers me when I let it get too long, and the air is dry. It gets itchy.
Go for beard without moustache and without upper cheek/under eye hair, and remove the hair behind your jawbone towards the ears. And make the neck line of your beard curved. Just bro advice
