Same here: Whenever I play video games, I tend to be more inclined to sexual indulgence. I guess this is because I play video games mainly for the instant gratification, which is what we are also after by PMO-ing. Therefore, in my opinion, instead of quitting (video games / PMO), it is our mindset which matters. If we have a hedonistic mindset (only focusing on fulfillment of personal desires), then we tend to relapse, and video games are just one of the signs which shows what's in our mind.
(Note: I am not saying all video games are bad, but it is very likely that most of us play them just to feed our desires. Plus, most video games nowadays are designed that way.)

As a result, we have to come up with some "meaningful" activities to fill our void, especially when we have a lot of free time and easily get bored. Instead of losing ourselves in some virtual worlds, it would be much better if we think about things we can do in the real world. Try to get up early, do some exercise, read some good books, meeting friends, volunteering...etc. There are actually quite a lot of things one can do with his free time, other than just playing video games.

So, yes, I suggest stopping the game, and engage more with real life. Believe me, you will feel much better. :)

I believe that video games have a similar nature to watching porn. I remember when I was addicted to both pornography and video games. There were times when I would go an entire week without watching porn because I was so engrossed in the game I was playing.

I would advise quitting both activities. I don't see any benefits in playing video games. Instead, I recommend pursuing more engaging hobbies, such as sports, playing a musical instrument, learning a new language, or studying computer programming.
