Do you guys think that a 19 y/o's brain still contains enough plasticity to reboot?

I started no PMO when I was 18, I've came close to rebooting and have noticed the benefits so yes absolutely.

I'm 27, I've tried to get rid of pmo before, but by learning a lot in the last few months, and having a different approach than before, I can assure you, it is definitely possible! You need the right mentality and persons around you. Also it's up to you with which kind of information you feed yourself.

Before I had no plan, I just wanted to not masturbate. As you may already experienced, if you focus on not doing something, it gets very difficult... Here I've learned about the scientific background, about the benefits of writing a journal (even if I'm not the best in this :p), the neccesity of having at least one AP, more is better, the advantages of cold shower, and so on. Keep reading and find what works the best for you. Oh, and the further you get on your journey, the easier it will be :) For me the most difficult is to get over 3 weeks, after it I can handle much better my urges. It is a difficult path, but it's absolutely worth it!

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Getting over three weeks is tough for me too. It's encouraging to know that it gets better after that. Good luck on your run, man. I know you're gonna do great.

This is pretty much the same story for me except I'm not as far along in my reboot as iborntobefree is. I might add that working out helps out a bunch. Having an AP has made quite the difference for me.

  8. While it's true that the younger the brain, the more plasticity it has, it doesn't mean it will lose all it's changing capabilities due to age. Regardless of age, the brain is still very plastic in nature and you can certainly reboot if you put in the time and effort.

Yes, children can learn how to ride a bike faster, but that doesn't mean an old man can't learn how to ride a bike no matter what. Good luck my friend, stay clean and stay positive! :)
