Hello guys and gals. At the time I am writing this, I am 102 days in. The goal is 120 days, but I will probably go way longer than that; there seems to be no returning back to the old days when i get glimpses of how good life can be PMO free.

Regardless, I am posting here because I am still very very much in the rebooting process both mentally and physically. I have been doing pretty decent with urges lately, but I must say, these emotional side effects get me. I know it is my brain rebalancing itself, but shit, can it do it in a more relaxed fashion? lol

But getting into it, I have these HUGE surges of just irritability in the form of anger, as well as brain fog (which after MONTHS has finally begun to lessen), high amounts of stress and bouts of low low depression. The depression is not a true part of me, just something I am going through, I know that and thus seem to have a better time dealing with it. But the other symptoms, especially the anxiety/stress and irritability/anger have really been getting to me since I started my LAST reboot. So,

The Question: If anyone knows of ways of combatting or at least relaxing these symptoms to a bearable level, for both myself and the people around me, please please let me know.

**For those of you who are going through the same or similar situations as me, I can suggest a few hints to ease the stress and anger:
    - read the Art of Happiness- this book has helped a lot with my self esteem and stress levels.
-listen to what you consider good music, and do ONLY that at the time. Don't do something else and listen, give it your full attention.
    - Affirmations- these actually help a lot. They help you affirm what you already are, so when stressful situations arise, you know who you are and thus it can help you take a stance and handle it better.
    - watch a lot of Ted talks on the above subjects

I commend you for your streak.

Anytime i get urges i throw on my headphones and put on my favorite music. That always takes away all the urges. As i type this im listenining to some vinyl :)

Having a strong positive mindset has gone a long way for me. I've tried meditation each time I've noticed my anxiety flaring up and it's helped tremendously. Even just closing your eyes for a few seconds and doing some deep breathing will help.

Awesome job on the 102 days by the way!

Playing an immersing video game, meditating, or praying are great ways to lessen anxiety.

Thanks guys. I've been taking your adrvice. Video games helped, but then I got bored and had to walk to avoid an urge that crept up while playing the video game.

Exercise your body man. It is the most effective treatment for anger.
