Lately I've started to develop anxiety in the build up to sex. I've been with my girlfriend for 2 and a half years. At the beginning of the relationship the dreaded ed happened as I was nervous, over time the anxiety went away and I was fine, until about 2 months ago. Looking back I was starting to watch more porn, n thinking why isn't it when I have sex like, then thinking I'm a failure, that leaded to anxiety in the bedroom (I.e like a sort of fight or flight response leading to sex). I've been reading that pied and performance anxiety are different things. But I think porn was the trigger that brought back the anxiety I had at the start of the relationship. Anyway just wondering what peoples thoughts are and if the same as anyone else?

  2. Nofap will naturally reduce anxiety, and will also result in easier, longer-lasting erections. It's probably the best thing you can do for PA.

Yeah I agree, I was gradually increasing the amount of time I was frapping up to 5 times a day, then when I saw my gf I had no sexual energy because I'd used it all. My outlook on sex changed as well, from making love to the girl I love, to thinking sex should be like it is on porn which sort of fucked my head up, which resulted in the anxiety. I've quit for 11 days now and I'm getting morning wood again (which I didn't really notice wasn't happening before until I saw People said the same thing) so I'm happy I'm seeing a difference already!
