One week into hardmode and its been challenging. The temptation to pmo has been there every morning when i wake up and also in the late afternoon when im just watching netflix. (On the rare occasion things get heated in the show im watching) I managed to quit smoking and I cut down on drinking to one or two beers every other night, except last night i drank a whole bottle of wine and i was craving a smoke so bad after that. This kind of makes me want to quit drinking all together, its just another escape like pmo and it wont be healthy for me to convert from being a pmo addict to an alcaholic. I still go to therapy once a week. I like my therapist, we make a lot of progress when i see her and i learn a lot about myself and the people around me. Ive learned that my family is very disconnected and my upbringing could have caused me to have social and situational anxiety. Also both my father and grandfather had anxiety in which they overcame. Therapy is a really useful tool that I think a lot of people undermine the value of. Anyways ive gone on long enough. As far as hardmode goes, im going to sign up for one of the reboot challenges and I hope some of you join me. Have a good day fapstronauts

Welcome to NoFap.com, @ThenewDrew! Glad to hear that you're off to such a positive start! :)

FYI: we certainly encourage posts like these, but per the "Success Story Guide: read this before posting here", it's a bit too early to report this here in "Success Stories," and so I've taken the liberty of moving this thread to our "Rebooting" section -- which is the recommended venue for posts such as these.

Wishing you best of luck with your continued journey!

Good stuff, the first couple weeks were mental for me, rollercoaster of emotions but it gets better.
