    Today..
    My little sister told me something i could never even picture..
    We are a Christian family...
    For me i always thought i was the black sheep in the family because i was the only one to ever struggle with porn...its been an ongoing fight since i was 7 yrs old..
    Today while driving with my little sister.. (im 21, shes 18)
    She had told me that she had struggled with porn for 2 yrs but now she has been clean for over a year.. i never pictured that...
    What was heart breaking was when she told me this...
    (Her words..) - i dont want you to be upset and feel bad and blame yourself..but my porn addiction started when i heard undoing yours..and when our parents talked about u having that problem..it sparked my curiosity...'
    Because of me..I led my little sister down a bad road..she followed me into it..because of me..those images are ground into her mind forever...i feel horrible..
    Doing porn..it feels like your the only one who is effected no one else (especially when your single) but thats not the case..

    You can beat this addiction Kristen, like we all can.. We just have to believe in ourselves and stop letting our brain take over for a quick release.
    I'm sorry to hear your sister got to deal with the same problems as you, is she completely rid of it already or is she trying to?
    Best of luck to both!

  4. It's not 100% your fault imo. And use it as motivation for you to quit.

    @Kristen

    Take everything you said and flip it completely upside down. Turn the negative into a positive.

    Your sister confided in you. Your sister and you are obviously close if she can confide in you about something so personal. You both understand the addiction, thus you can beat this bogeyman together. You may be right that your behavior affects others. Then if you can abstain from porn, your positive influence will likely rub off on your little sister and vice versa.
