I must sound like a broken record but my understanding of how lust works is that it originates on the mental level and will escalate before your self talk reaches a point where you want to take action. If lustful thoughts arise then immediately recognise this and stay aware of your thinking process. Any sign of your thinking turning dirty then look away for the scene and change the channel in your mind or look at your phone and then come back to the movie afterwards.

Well, I watched both Barry Lyndon (amazing movie 10/10 btw) and a tv series with a sex scene shot in a very sensual way I completely didn't see coming nor knew that sex was in the show at all and both didn't arouse me.
I was like "Oh yeah right boobs, next scene"
I didn't have sexual thoughts I lost myself in nor they were stronger o4 longer-lasting than the ones I could think of while making dinner.
I mean, it's unavoidable to think about sex, for fuck's sake (quite literally in this case).
And you might say: Yes but this time they might have been short, and you might have been hooked by the plot/ the focus may have not been on the sex, if you watch a movie more focused about sex they might arouse you.
I'll tell you what: no. The man who fell to earth is a movie with a ton of sex in it and it was boring as hell and I wasn't aroused at all.
