    Hey Guys,

I relapsed yesterday after a 2 week NoFap streak, it was actually a pretty good streak to be honest, I was enjoying it, then during a moment of boredom yesterday I viewed P, in a weird way, I didn't even "want' to view P, its like my body somehow forced my brain into doing it.... within seconds of seeing Hardcore P, I ejaculated.... within a hour afterwards, I PMO'ed again this time with full intention and well, lets just say, since then I have felt totally SHIT.

I am 31 years old and this question is mainly aimed more towards guys who are in their 30s and above.... those of you who relapse during a reboot, do you physically and mentally feel like crap afterwards???

the way I am feeling right now, is hard to describe exactly, but I have a really constant headache, my body feels like it is holding tension, I am feeling quite sick like I want to vomit and also very weak physically.

this is the worst I've felt after a relapse if I am totally honest.

I have re-started a Reboot and am fully determined to go the whole duration.

However I need help from you guys, I need to feel somewhat normal again, how have you folks dealt with post-relapse weirdness???

the wrongest thing about relapsing is taking it to the fullest
oh man, I've already relapsed and this has set me back so why don't I make another PMOing
but the fact is that your relapse did not fully set you back, BUT a second and third PMOing may did !!
a guy who used to PMO one or more times daily is achieving some success when he masturbates only once 1n 14 days
and he has already made some little healing to his brain
and did not get back to day 1
I don't say that 14 days is enough. but if you continued PMOing you are setting yourself back to day one
a single relapse is something you've to learn of, not to take it to the fullest
your goal is not to get 90 days free from porn
but to have a normal life free of fuckin porn
you've to give your brain time to heal
even with three or 4 black spots in a year schedule, you are doing some harm to your progress
    ...
You're the guy that used to masturbate many times a day, but now you've done it only once in a 14 days period
you're a 14 times stronger (at least) why the hell I want to get back to this less strong guy??
a relapse can be motivating depending on you perception
you've plenty of time to fix everything

These bad feelings are necessay and they can be great motivators for next time if you start thinking about relapsing. Think about how bad you felt after relapsing.

CAN men really be fully REBOOTED??

this is something I am wondering, you may go say a whole year with NO PMO and rewire your brain somewhat, but what happens when you may accidentally view a Porn scene, whereby all your fetishes which you've tried to eradicate from your mind is highlighted.

I am sure your brain and body goes "wow" at the sight of this???

I personally don't think this addiction can entirely be BEATEN, but I do feel we can all make a concerted effort to avoid stimuli... thats the hardest part probably.

But in terms of ever NOT getting turned on by Porn, I personally don't think any guy can eradicate this and if they have PLEASE POST BELOW and let us all know how you are now!!!

Man it's not about being turned on by porn
If you're not turned on by porn then you're physically ill
if normal persons are not turned on by porn then there would not be a term called (Porn addiction)
porn addiction comes to healthy men turned on by porn (all of adult healthy people are supposed to be turned on :) )
    >>>
It's about getting rid of this shit so that you can be easily aroused by natural stimuli
the problem with porn is that it makes you desensitized to girls (normal stimuli) and you may suffer from porn induced erectile dysfunction or even more
    ...
and believe me porn addiction can entirety be eradicated
our brains are very plastic and they can be rewired in any direction
just stop feeding it and it will eventually die
    ...
    and don't forget
this site and other similar sites are not talking about ACCIDENTAL viewing of porn
it's all about INTENTIONALLY viewing porn
this is what counts and this is what causes addiction and changes chemistry of your brain

good post man... I've decided to fully reset my counter starting today, i'm gonna take each day to eradicate this damn addiction.

I've come out of a relationship with a girl, I really liked, thankfully I had no signs of PIED.... I am just struggling with other stuff, like lethargy and low-energy.

  7. You may want to go internet-free for a couple of days. Maybe just check email on your phone or something. Then find things to do, read books, start a new hobby or revive an old one, get fresh air and exercise, stuff like that.

Yes it normal to feel like crap after a relapse.
I'm going to be honest, there really isn't much to do. Instead, use this as a reason not to relapse.
After a few days, you will feel better. Until then, stay strong.
PS: I know what it feels like to go through that. I feel shitty right now.

pick yourself up again, and put it into your DNA that when you pump the juice so to say, you feel shitty afterwards? Also Nofap is amazing IMO because it is a way to train willpower which can and WILL flow into other areas and moments of your life :) I have relapsed like 5 times man, let's go, i'll be your accountability partner and we will kill this sht once and for all!! ;)

It usually takes me about 5 days to recover from a relapse... the Brain Fog sucks ass, its kinda like an otherworldly form of dumbness.

LET'S DO THIS BROTHERS, we can fight this crap.

a better life awaits us all.

  12. Hello, I am in your same situation.. I relapsed yesterday after 13 days and I feel like crap.... Few months ago when I joined NoFap I managed to last 60 days without PMO, but now, after 13-15 I constantly relapse... I have tried everything: I managed also not to check internet for 10 days but again after 13-15 days that severe urge for PMO comes out and the again: relapse... I think the reason liesin the fact that my brain is set to 13 days now... Next time that will happen I will write a friend or here on NoFap, I think it may help to break the circle...

This is because of chaser. Keep on trying and you will go past 2-3 week mark. Then always remember not to give in when you reach 2-3 months of sobriety. Post here everyday by writing a journal. Meditate, workout, run/jog etc everyday.

It would take some serious reprogramming to feel only revulsion on seeing porn, but we can reboot to where it does not controll us. We can enjoy real life, knowing that we can resist porn, but we will feel an attraction for a long time. Occasionally we will have to conciously decide to stay clean. We could fall back into it, but, if we do, we will know how to stop the decent and get back on our feet again, and we will have confidence that we can do it, because we did.

the chaser is a bitch, I got it just a moment ago, I MO'ed but no P.... reset my counter!!! the one thing I found this time around was I was exhausted and MO genuinely seemed to give me an energy boost??? it felt actually quite good, I don't feel the same post-P fatigue now??

i think u need replacement habits,if u never read "the power of habit" by charles duhigg ,give some time to read and if u already read it then again read it.MO and PMO are very powerful in terms of dopamine thats why it is very difficult to break it,but it can be replaces although other activities seems to boring but in starting u have to force for it.
    wish u best

I agree man, reading is definitely something I want to get "back" into my life, I have ordered a few books on Amazon, which I am going to force into my life.

I've slipped a lot of the past week, due to being ill in bed with a fever.... a dangerous slope for folks like us, boredom is a dickhead in this situation.

Iv noticed that I will sometimes feel an energyboost when I MO after a few weeks of being clean but it's always random. Most of time I feel shitty and have no motivation.
