This is why I want to stop.

I read somewhere that user information and computer IP addresses are stored on Porn sites such as PornHub and others. Is this true?

I only started using PornHub this year and after reading about this it made me want to stop. I'm scared my family will find out and that I may not be able to get a job in the future.

Is this true? Is my identity safe? Will my computer IP Address be wiped off of PornHubs database if I don't use it anymore? I'm freaking the fuck out right now

"The internet is forever" is a phrase that is almost 100% true. Everything you do is traceable in some way shape or form. The only variable is how much time someone is willing to spend to get at your info.

All our mistakes are out there. It sucks... I know.

Is it likely my information will get hacked? I never had a PornHub account and used Incognito. Will changing my computers IP Address remove my computer from the sites database?

That is above my level of expertise.

Unless you are some high profile dude, the enormous volume of traffic from unique IPs will likely be enough to shield you from hackers. You are just a nobody in a huge ocean of nobodies. But you probably picked up bugs/viruses when you visited those sites.

If you did something criminal then Idk what to tell you.

Well I avoided clicking the advertisements and ran MalwareBytes on my computer every time I was finished with the websites and the malware scans were clear. I haven't done anything criminal on the sites and pornography is not illegal where I live.

Would you say I am safe? I just need some final reassurance so I can calm down.

Yeah, I think you can rest easy.

The best way to not expose yourself to that level of risk again is to never go on the websites again. Personally, I have to be careful even on websites like GQ where the instagram feed is pretty hot and can send me down the wrong trail.

Thank you for calming me down Harry. I don't want to go on those sites anymore anyways. Hopefully in the next few weeks or days my computers IP will disappear into the abyss.

Good luck on your NoFap Journey Harry!

Bro, chill out. First, who would seriously think of hacking you ? Your relatives, your family ? I don't think so.
Secondly, yes the sites usually can see which ip addresses connect to their website but only them can see it and knowing than more than an million people connects to pornhub everyday, they absolutely dont care about you. And third, even if somebody knew your IP, it doesnt mean he/she could know what wesites you have been visiting, it's only your isp who knows that.
