I lost my way slightly this last month or 2. But now I'm back on level ground I can see again and I remembered my life motto, with it I can put the past behind me and look to the future. What's your life motto?
There are a lot of concepts that I have delved into in order to understand and improve myself. There are a lot of new principles that I now live by, but I am still trying to get a feel for what is most important to me and where my priorities should be. I do not have a specific motto at this time, but If I had to choose something that reflects the advice I need to hear most and need to adhere to at this point in my life it would be: "Fear causes hesitation... and hesitation causes your worst fears to come true." Simply put, I need to not be afraid to step outside of my comfort zone and not restrain myself from being the person I want to be. Irrational fears and reluctance to take control of situations should not hold me back from achieving my dreams.
In a similar vein, I found this today, written on a notecard: Almighty God, during this time of trouble, give comfort to my spirit, peace to my fearful heart and trust to my anxious mind. Increase my courage to endure the challenges and hope to sustain my strength. Provide me with patience in pain and faith in your healing power. Grant the grace to accept this burden and the wisdom to place all my needs under your compassionate care. I entrust myself, my loved ones and all who are in need of health, security, happiness and love to your holy will. Amen
The truely free individual is free only to the degree of his own self mastery. While those who will not govern themselves are condemned to find masters to rule over them.
That motto works for me man. But I believe the 'Kingdom of God' is truly inside of us waiting for us to enter into....
When everything you've had is stolen then only thing you are left with is REVENGE. And........ SUCCESS is the best REVENGE.
Well, I have a couple life mottos: The second is kind of a self-invented one (probably heard it somewhere but can't remember right now) : "If you don't like clowns, then you shouldn't live in a circus".
