so its almost been a month...I had only one relapse somewhere on the 18th day which I chose to forget at once. otherwise I am clean..there were a few days in between where I wud get rock hard erections when I fantasized about the real stuff and get morning woods too and then a few days where my dick was completely dead. Although I am seeing great improvements in my moods and anxiety issues and everything, no improvements regarding ed. Right now, I feel like I have no interest in sex at all..it doesnt feel exciting...I came across a lot of triggers in the last few days but I managed to control myself but right now..nothing..my dick is completely dead.

It doesnt matter how long it takes but I need to know I am getting cured and need assurance. I want to have a great life like the rest of you here.

"Like the rest of us?" Dude, not everybody here is having a great life, otherwise we wouldn't be here! We're all working on ourselves to make our scene better, and you're in it along with the rest of us.

But yeah, the first few weeks or a month is difficult. But you ARE recovering, every day that you don't PMO. It WILL get better. The unbelievable urge to fap WILL go away if you take some deep breaths, occupy yourself with something else, and wait. Your sex drive WILL return.

I'd like to suggest one thing though: don't make your goal 365 days. It's more productive to have a smaller goal to reach before you go for the gold. Try only 15 days or 30 days. Each time you succeed you will gain confidence and be ready to set your next goal to be longer than the previous one

And not to rain down on you too hard, but if you relapse (meaning you PMO'd?), then you should have reset your counter to zero. We're all working on an honors system here. What good is your counter if it's wrong? The whole idea of the counter is to see an accurate visual record of your recovery. After 52 days, I had a relapse, and it was pretty annoying to have to set my counter back to zero, but I did it. I'd like to think everybody's else's numbers are as accurate as mine.

    Good luck! Keep on posting.

    Ed @ 17? That sucks.

Maybe you're getting too excited about the addiction wearing off? Film, TV, music, advertising - all assume that orgasms at least are the top of our desires and motivations. But for the few who learn to master their passions, it can sometimes seem a little alienating -realising that the mainstream can't control their dicks and the culture validates that as normal.

It takes courage tho to stand your ground when you're outnumbered but right
