You know when you watch porn there are a number of sexual activities that you ordinarily would never consider. Having seen anal sex online I was made to wonder if at all this is an unhealthy way of having sex. If anyone has any useful information for me I would appreciate it.
Here's my tuppence on the issue. I have had anal sex only on one occasion (given and received), and it wasn't great tbh. It wasn't awful, but, I dunno, didn't seem really worth it. Maybe in future. Anyway, yes, J247, pornography is unhealthy for many. By definition it's unhealthy for all of us here, right. But I don't think that that is really the question which TheArtist01 is trying to get at. The question is, is anal sex a normal part of healthy sex? And the answer to that question is, I think, it definitely can be. There are lots of things about porn anal sex which are unhealthy, certainly. Porn sees really aggressive anal sex as presumed almost and as a normal, standard thing. It is not. Anal sex is not bad; in some contexts, it's what the two people are into, and that's fine. Some women enjoy receiving it, some men enjoy giving it, some men enjoy receiving it (I guess some women are into giving it too, that's what pegging is, right) and that's all fine. But do be aware that it's a minority thing. It's not for everyone. And aggressive anal sex is for even less people. These things need to be treated delicately and it's only my first day here, right, but loads of people talk about their sexual tastes changing after giving up porn. Maybe you'll stop being into anal, maybe you wont. Both are fine. The key thing is that if you are into it, to be into it in a proper, healthy real-life (and therefore unlike porn) kind of a way. No presuming it's OK to crudely ram your dick into anybody's arse. What does your partner want? What do you want? Etc, etc. All the usual things, really, but they're even more important with anal because trust me, as somebody that has received it, if things go just a bit too fast, everything stops being fun real fast.
When you see it online, you do not see all of the necessary cleaning out so that you won't end up with a stinky brown mess all over the place. It also needs excellent lubricant and careful slow stretching and breaking in. It can be done, but, in reality, not as quickly or easily as they make it look on a computer screen. I have had no personal experience with it, but, like you, after I saw it, I was curious, and I investigated. I was not rebooting yet, so I was more hoping for triggers than trying to avoid them. I would not recommend that you go looking. That it why I described it for you; I thought that you probably do not need the triggers. I would also not recommend that you attempt the practice either; I cannot imagine that the complications and pain would be very pleasing, not to mention possibilities of medical complications.
if a sexual act with a partner gives pleasure to both people, and grows the connection between them, then i think its ok. variety in bed with a partner is good. variety of porn preferences is bad (porn at all is bad), it messes up how your brain processes the sexual act with an actual partner. give up porn ofcourse, but dont give up variety with a partner. just communicate & make sure your partner is into it before you get too adventurous!
