My name is Mario from Germany. I'm struggling for years to stop PMO. Read a lot of books about it, tried to block porn from my computer etc. I never made it more than a week until I had a relapse. Now this is my last hope to finally quit PMO.

I've been inspired in the past and till date, whenever and each time I fail, by a saying my Physics teacher taught me when I failed miserably at solving Physics problems ... "the greatest people are the not ones who never fail and who never fall, the greatest are the ones who pick themselves up each time they fall till they succeed".

There is no "last hope" -- hope springs eternal. Its up to each us, myself included, to find the good habits that can replace out the bad ones.

hope this helps. I've failed time and time again, but commenting on posts and reading others travails helps me realize I am not alone. This post is as much to help you as to help myself!!

    regards!

I have used porn blockers in the past and I only found myself spending time finding loopholes or ways around the blockers. Let's be honest were adults if you want to look at porn you are going to look at porn regardless if you have porn blockers on your pc lol. The only thing that works is when you decide that you no longer want to view porn. Don't beat yourself up over slips and falls just pick yourself up and keep going. For years my routine after coming home from work would be to get on the computer and go straight to my fav porn sites and would edge and fap for 2-3 hours go to sleep for 2 hours head to second job come home fap then go to sleep for 2 hours and get up for day job get off that job and start it all over again and that was my routine for monday thru friday the weekends saturday and sunday I would just binge I would fap until I no longer could fap and this was my life for years. Now I come home and I am excited to to come on nofap to see how everyone is coming along with their journey. It feels weird not going on the porn sites but I have decided that I no longer want to be that guy isolating myself and fapping all day. I see everyone on nofap not giving up and that makes me not want to give up . So I'm not giving up not only for myself but I'm not giving up for you and for the rest of the people on this site fighting to get back what PMO stole from them. So you don't give up not only for yourself but for me and everyone else on this site because we need the encouragement we gain from reading about your journey.

  4. I'm a new member too and the first day is seriously tough on me but I'm trying to not quit this battle with PMO and I hope I can finally be rid of it. Joining up here already shows that you're willing to take that first step and while it's going to take a while, don't give up. Gib dein Bestes!

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

Thank you for your supporting replies!

Made it through the first two days by trying not to be alone with myself so I don't even have a choice. Think this helps me to get through the toughest time.

What I learned from quitting smoking is that it's mostly your mindset that is making the difference. You need to be willing and you need to be conscious that you're able to do it. You need to believe.
