    Hi,

I found out that working with small rewards has been more successful. I'm wondering does anyone else this, or is this just a bad idea? I mean nothing serious, but something like going bowling and stuff.

At the end of 90 days I go for a big reward, hiking the west highland way. That's what keeps me motivating a lot. (+ The benefits as well of course!)

If it works for you, it is not bad.
I see no philosophical complications with increasing your motivation.
Have you had any thoughts on increasing and deepening your social interactions?

It's kinda cheesy, but I asked the same thing when I was early in nofap. Someone told me "aren't the rewards from abstaining good enough?" I thought that was crazy and pretty stupid. 55 days into my nofap and I realized I don't need rewards. Granted I still have 100% dead dick, I think I'm the happiest I've ever been and the materialistic rewards aren't really necessary.

Rewards are nice. They keep you motivated! The problem with them is that you need to stop them once you get far, the happiness will be the dominant reward then. The real problem is that after you stop the rewards for some time, your brain will want those rewards because you haven't been relapsing. Just be careful :)

Yeah, I'm. At first they were the worst, I couldn't look people in the eye or even talk to them without sweating. But now things are getting better.

Yeah, you're right. The thing is that I never could be addicted to these rewards. They're actually more dreams of mine that I want to do, but never had the guts for it. Like my world trip etc. thanks for your advice :emoji_punch:

You feel a void when you give up PMO. Good activities help, but you need real relationships to completely fill it.
