After a couple relapses, I'm currently back at day 10 no PMO but unsure which path to take and wondering if the benefits of excluding sex during the 90 days are significant. I've searched around on normal vs hard mode but am still a bit confused. After 15 years daily, no unmanageable cravings for porn these past few months but abstaining from the release is the hardest part for me. Not curing ED and I understand that including sex will make abstaining from M more difficult but with that aside, is no sex a major factor in the psychological benefits of the reboot?

for me it has been, definitely. id say take it a step further, no P ofcourse, no sex, but also no arousing thoughts/fantasies etc, go complete asexual for the period of the reboot.

without going into my whole reboot history...i can feel a palpable change in how my brain is responding to pleasurable stimuli (music, exercise, food etc) after going into asexual mode. its tough but i dont plan on missing out on any benefits from this challenge, so im going to do it at a 100%

Cool thanks for the feedback. Longest streak was only a few weeks but I definitely agree with keeping the arousing thoughts out. They're just like edging and make it much harder to abstain.
