Since the age 12, I have only been jerking off about once a day all the way up until now. I am wanting to know how long should it take for me to go back to normal like my confidence, my energy levels, and etc.

There's no magic number. If you count up to a certain number and reach that goal, the next day you will immediately go back to jerking off everyday again. This is a passive exercise that's about focusing on other things in your life and improving yourself with the energy that NoFap brings.

At least, this is my opinion and experience.

There is no magic number, everyone has a unique journey. 90 days is enough to build resistance to your old ways. However I personally think 6 months is a good bet, old habits usually become very weak by then. You should also have more going on for you in life besides noFap. It will take the focus away from fapping and channel it into other areas of life.

Think of NoFap as a foundation or roots for which your life is built on. I used to take classes, sports, go out a lot and be extroverted, however I still felt depressed and sad no matter what I did, and that was because I was fapping.

NoFap is the Heart pumping blood to your life ya know ;)

  5. How long will it take to Reboot? Well, much longer than just 90 days in almost every case. o_O IMHO, unless you are middle-aged, the 90 day reboot is a total fiction. 180-270 days, is much more likely. All of this assumes you have a perfect streak with no relapses from day zero, of course! However, relapses with porn or masturbation of voluntary orgasm need a reset.

Aim for 90 days first. It doesn't matter how long it takes. You're going to have to start somewhere. If you don't then you always have PIED.

Ok, so should I set my goals for 3/4 of a year. After that, I should be normal, and able to be my full self again.

Hi Maxwell , I think what the some of the posters above are getting at is that the key here is not the number of days spent abstaining but how you spent that time . What you new skills are you going to learn? What new hobbies are you going to take up? Maybe commit to an exercise routine . You will know you are cured when your lifestyle changes to remove PMO or P from your life.
For my part I have managed to achieve the 90 day journey repeatedly but never go beyond . I am no longer focused on this magic number because it can give you a false sense of security and lead to a relapse

Well, my hobbies are working out, being with friends, etc. But when I get home that's when the trouble starts to happen. Usually, that's when I start to feel the relapse coming. Soon I want to be able to control my relapse and try to not count the days that I have been NoFap.
