    Hi,
    I'm on Linux Mint.
I have installed many gear on my computer to restrict access to porn. I installed cloudacl extension on chrome it work but on incognito mode porn images on google results are there.
So I thought that I could use a DNS. I wanted to use OpenDNS but it doesnt work despite the attempts to clear the DNS cache and configure in many ways the DNS.
I would like to know if other people successfully protect their computers from porn?

My boyfriend and I are using X3 Watch. It works like a charm. I'm his accountability partner so it also sends me weekly reports if he tries to go to a website that hasn't been added to the white list we agreed to. Hope that helps, might be something to look into

What's going on ! I honestly don't block porn sites because I want grow more of a strong willpower and a stronger mindset when it comes to this NoFap journey. I feel if I can control my addictions with PMO ,than it'll help me really understand that there's no reason to waste my seed. BUT i will say, you have to do what works for you... and no one knows that better than yourself! keep it up !

    ~ peace ~

    Hi,
I forgot to specifying that it must be free. I'm low on budget...
Does anyone know how to use the build-in services of a computer to block porn?

Use chrome beta, and uninstall all browser. Chrome beta has supervised feature that can block and monitor your internet history. But you must have someone to be your manager or to be superviser. Superviser can monitor and block any website from another devices.

Make two user in linux, one user for superuser, he allowed to install or uninstall program, and change configuration your linux. And the second user is you, you can't to install or uninstall program, and change configuration your linux.

So you need a partner that wannabe your manager in supervised chrome and as superuser in your linux. Choose someone that you'll be embarrassed if he / she knows you opened porn in your computer.

You can also install Squid proxy in linux, it allowed you block with domain and keyword. But you still need superuser, so you can't edit the configuration.
