So I know I was supposed to post journal entries of my day by day experiences with NoFap (will start soon) but a question has been bothering me for awhile. If you were to edge on NoFap should you reset by ejaculating, or wait until the dopamine levels come down naturally? The reason I ask this is because I did end up edging pretty bad today but not to the point where I ejaculated. Should I say fuck it or wait until the levels are lowered naturally? Thanks
I say you let it come down naturally, see it as a check point in your 90 day reboot journey. So from now on you're no longer edging in your reboot. Then as you get closer you make it more and more challenging but dont quit.
Dude. This is too complicated to answer in the way I know you want it answered. Reset if you edge. I know it can seem demotivating but if it makes you sad you have to change your view of a reset. A reset does not have to be caused by a full blown PMO relapse. I agree with this I learnt what edging actually meant(new to this), but yeah resetting will also help you abstain from edging again as well as the point mentioned by jewels and the website referred to.
