I watched Shawshank Redemption last month.
It was first time to watch, but I stopped on the way.
That's too heavy and slow, not for me.

You remember the scene soldiers were talking surrounding firewood.
I stopped on that scene.

idk,i am old school i like these kinda movies. The finale of this movie is just amazing. As for the whole movie,every dialogue spoken is brilliant. I say give it another go,without any distraction and try to understand its philosophical aspect. The pace is slow in the first half but in last 45 minutes it picks up. Still my comfort movie after all these years.

How about "Rocky" and "Creed", and Will Smith's movies?
