You are correct sir! I have learned too that we cannot allow emotions to be an excuse to act out however. It is painful learning how to process difficult emotions without escaping the pain. Part of growing is facing the pain and seeing the true nature of our suffering. We only complicate the emotional pain by acting out.

As the saying goes, 'master your emotions or they will make you their bitch...'

Learning how to fulfill our emotional needs in more wholesome ways is crucial.
