    Good day to all Fapstronauts.

    My name is Joshua, I'm from the Netherlands and I'm 23 years young. Currently studying Social Works.
    My hobby's are: fitniss, playing video games and reading (mostly non-fiction).
    I'm interested in politics, mindfullness, health, philosophy, education and movies.
    Personal favourite is 'Fight Club' and 'Perks of being a wallflower'.

    I've registered to NoFap because of this TED talk:
    This made me aware of the effects porn could possibly have on my own life. After watching the documentery "Life after porn" and "Hot girls wanted", I realised that watching porn also had a great impact on the people around me and on the world at general. Personally I hope PMO will help me achieve greater balance in life and help cure my compulsive sexual behavior.

    I've been trough depression several times and im currently using medication (anti-depression) to keep myself from returning to dark thoughts. I'm also using medication because of my ADD disorder. In life I find that I have great trouble keeping my body and mind in balance. For me, this is a constant strugle. I practice mindfullness in order to help me maintain this balance.     After I had my last depression (one year ago), I found that I could not longer consume alcohol or stay up late, both had great effect on my mental health when I did not abstain from using alcohol or when I did not recieve enough sleep.
    This had great effect on my social life, I was no longer able to go to party's or drink with friends. On the other hand, I found that the friends who stuck with me, are true friend worth of my friendship.

    I feel ashamed for the fact that I only have had sex once on my age and that I haven't had a realtionship yet.
    Many of my friends are beginning to live together with their girlfriends / partners. I find this very confronting.
    Mainly because I feel the need to start a releationship but don't seem to be able to start one, or meet new girls.
