Hey everyone I've recently decided to stop lurking so I can try to be active in the forums. I started my journey with NoFap on the 16th of July. I tried paying attention to the Reddit page but then I relapsed after which started once more on the 23rd of July now I am on a 15 day personal streak that is seemingly starting to get harder each day.

I am 28y/o Male and I have been using PMO since the age of 14. Porn however has been in my life for longer than that as my father kept pornography around so I was exposed to it from a very young age. I am a virgin and I have never had a girlfriend or been in a serious relationship but I would honestly call them situation-ships and my last one is what broke me but it helped me realise that something was definitely wrong. I don't know if I have a porn addiction but I do know that I have been using it to escape a lot of trauma from my past. I started this journey to help myself and continue working on my self realisation and I'd like to go at least 100 days on hard mode to see if quitting porn would improve my life as it relates to my self esteem depression and anxiety. I don't want to continue anymore "woe is me" writing about my past because lately I have been able to find happiness through meditation and mindfulness but I think it's time I join the community because I may need it for the times when I feel alone and want to escape.

It's nice to see all of you here improving yourselves :)
