    Hey all,

So I've gone 30 days without porn. It's been rough, especially for someone that has a serious fetish addiction.

I've gone from viewing porn every day of the week to not doing so in 30 whole days. I never thought that possible at one point in my life.

Unfortunately, during this time, I have masturbated 9 times without viewing porn (yeah, I'm keeping tabs). An improvement though, considering it used to be an everyday thing.

My aim for the next 30 days is to continue not watching porn and not masturbate at all.

    Wish me luck.

  7. Yes! You are making progress :) Good luck with noPMO! It is worth it! If you relapse, just get up and keep going, don't shame yourself.

    Good luck!

I'd say if you catch yourself Mingm esp in the first thing in the morning, just learn to take your hand away way before you O. Eventually you'll learn to just ignore it. Congrats on not watching any P, but abstaining from M is what restores sensitivity and good erections over time.

Going days without porn is tough for anyone who has been into it a lot. I have never been involved with porn but my husband had a history with it. I thus understand the feelings and situations you undergo. True it began with your fault or maybe by accident but you ought to be proud about wanting to stop. Continue to grow. Realise that porn poses an unrealistic view of intimacy and women. Evn men. Real people are not the perfection in porn. Real human relationships are far more beautiful. It isnt just a streaming hot session of sex but also a moment where mistakes occur but are accepted, where you laugh togther, where you LOVE your partner. Whether religious or not that is the truth in life that we should realise. My husband loved me a lot and hus devotion to me made it easier for him to quit. Imagine there is somebody out there, no matter how old you are, waiting for a life with you. Porn will only mess your feelings and the way you loom for beauty or sexual pleasure with your partner. Once you realise that, the reality between you and your partner becomes better than any porn video or even prostitude can ever give you.

I must also say that porn can be triggered easily. Once you have viewed it, you have a lifetime of dealing with it. The worst part is, unlike a murderer or any other mistakes people do, regret in porn makes things worse. Porn is powerful. Very powerful. My husband still relapses back to it time to time. But i am still with him. Because i know his addiction has nothing to do with the fact that he loves me. The only hurtful thing for me is that he hides his acts in an attempt not to hurt me. Guys have to realise something, it's better to hurt your partner with truth than hurt them beyond fixation with lies. And for singles, someday when you get a partner, do your best to give her honesty. If she is really serious about your relationship dont hurt her. Its tough. Very tough. But you can never get over lust or porn. That is the truth. Although you stay strong there is chance of relapse someday. There could be various factors affecting this. Loneliness, boredom, idleness, broken feelings, etc are some examples. Of course the best thing to do would be to mae yourself preoccupied. You will get thoughts and wantings to watch porn. They must be attacked directly. With proper reason and justification. You cannot fight it like a war and throw lust out. You can go online and search for porn recory tips, recovery stories, nature of relapse. And so on.
