A new beginning

Hi,

I am a 23-year-old male, and I am very thankful to have stumbled across this site.

I was introduced to porn when I was 14, and have struggled with it since then. At various periods, I have made attempts to stop watching, but I never cut ties completely, and today I am ready to be done with this monster for good. It's very encouraging to know that there is such a large community out there going through these same struggles.

Why am I joining? I no longer want to be a bystander and contributor to an industry that takes the humanity out of people. I've seen some of the devastating effects of pornography on myself, in both my body and my thinking, and I want to start this journey of complete restoration. Because of that, I am starting the 90-day challenge in hard mode.

A special thanks to all the people who are part of this community who share their struggles and give so much needed encouragement.
