No, I don't mind it at all I'ts been linked to in my signature since my first day here. No wonder that someone who goes by the name 'Equalizer' has a good taste in music

Actually my name is a direct reference to Robert McCall's alias from the film The Equalizer! Actually I posted about my username already in this thread lol, but since you make the music reference here it is again. With a photo this time! I honestly know nothing about the technical side of music, I just love listening to it.

When I first joined NoFap I thought a little about the term "fapstronaut", then I though about space travels, then about galaxies. As I'm a "him" I thought in "Galax-im" or could also something along the lines of "galactic being, galactic human being".

 

I think my name is fairly self-explanatory but yeah, definitely wanna be the person I used to be, fun and intelligent and confident. You guys would have loved the old me, she was pretty cool. Trying to attain myself again.

 

I took some letters from my first name, some from my last name, mixed them up with some random additional letters and got a username that to my knowledge doesn't really mean anything .

My name is a nickname from my childhood. I could never really quite sit still and I was pretty quick. I also really, really like popcorn so some friends gave me the name Jiffy Pop, since I guess I had the speed and spontaneity of an exploding popcorn kernel. As I grew older and the name seemed more childish it was simply shortened to Jiffy.

I still bounce my leg pretty rapidly when I sit at a desk and I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie. So I figure the name is still somewhat applicable.

I don't like coming up with usernames. Looked on the side of the desk and I had something that said "raiders" on it. Tried to incorporate that into a screen name and remembered that I loved the movie raiders of the lost ark.

Also, I'm searching for an invaluable treasure - to be back in control again and to stop giving into porn and masturbation. I get that the holy grail would probably be more apt, but I liked raiders of the lost ark better.

 

I picked mine because it's my name on StarCraft-2. I originally made it for Battlefield but I suck at that game and I don't like it. So I changed my name on SC2 to VanillaMochi after playing BF4. I was trying to think of a name and my roommate was listing off different flavors of yogurt... I heard her say, "Peanutbutter, Vanilla.... Mochi.... strawberry...." and it just clicked.

I'm also white and Japanese, so I feel like it works.

 

My name's a combination of initials, and a character from Mario 64! When I was really young, I had an N64 and my favourite games were Turok 2, Goldeneye, but most of all, good ol' Mario! When you play one of the levels, there's an eye that shoots lasers at you, and you have to run around it to make it dizzy, which kills it. When it dies, it spits out a blue coin, which was practically the sound of my childhood, right there .

 

When I created a username I wanted something that would follow on with the theme of No___. Having realised porn and masturbation were having detrimental effects on my life, even before seeing Gary Wilson's Ted Talk and joining NoFap, quitting seemed like a No Brainer!
