Almost.
Compared to the 60's, we've made major strides. Everyone knows the health risks. It not longer has the same "face" as it originally had. Hence, almost destroyed.

 

I don't know. I've seen college students smoke all the time, and these are the educated ones. The norm seems to be to have a stressful lifestyle and then to reduce the stress folks smoke, use cuss words n stuff.

I remember as kids we'd look down upon anyone who smoked. Like if we saw an adult smoking, we'd look at him n just say, 'that's a bad guy.'

now that i'm an adult i see teenager smoking. not sure if it's reduced. people are aware of damages that smoking brings, but many are of the approach 'we live only once' or simply 'mind your own business'. i was like that once. its almost as if they/past me want to be arrogant. or want to be seen as arrogant.

 

Hmm... you're probably right. Many of the smokers I know have switched to the e-cigs citing various reasons, perhaps that is why I misperceive things. Plus, I just don't see that many smokers in public, but I don't really go out that often...

 

Nowadays it's more acceptable to smoke. I mean the perception has become vulgar. Like drinking is a cool thing, getting drunk on birthdays is a cool thing. Bashing others is a cool thing. There are reality shows where contestants participate to make fun of each other and bad fun.

My colleague was saying that in school he'd eve tease the girls and the professors must still be remembering him. he proudly talks this. i dont think it's cool to tease anyone. or maybe i'm old fashioned. but its not something to be proud of. to be proud of being a goon isnt something that i'd do.
