I already said "yes" to your previous comment about how hard it is. I know, bro, I assure you! But it can help to see it in simple terms. If you can pause when temptation comes, and ask: 'am I going to choose PMO or am I going to stay clean?'

OK, this is good insight. This is very common. Negative circumstances and emotions are the most common reason we slip up IMO. We have conditioned our mind that we turn to masturbation and porn when we need comfort from life or feelings.

So, look for something healthy that can replace this very damaging habit. Even exercise can help because it releases natural endorphins in the brain. Maybe you could swim, jog, cycle, work out. Even some basic sit ups in your room might break the spell of PMO. Find out what works for you. :)

  3. My dream is quit porn forever and abstain from jerking off for 3-4 months. As imo getting off is a completely natural process, but the main issue here is porn, which literally destroys us.

    Agreed :)

  5. I didn't say it does. You're misunderstanding me. I'm saying that misdisgnosing yourself, or even properly diagnosing yourself with a disorder can make you think "well, this is just who I am, so I might as well not even bother trying to fix it, because it's unfixable." I think that's really unwise, and very often untrue.

I've studied psychology and had planned to open my own MFT practice, so I'm not against diagnoses or psychology in any way. I'm just saying, don't let a diagnosis (especially a self-diagnosis, but any diagnosis) make you give up trying to do your best to change your thought pattern. There's no evidence to suggest people who actually have OCD can never overcome it. So don't let yourself start thinking this is just a normal part of who you are and it can't be changed.

You're totally misunderstanding me. I never said you're faking anything. I don't know what else to say. I'm just trying to help.

  6. I have never said that u cannot recover from hocd, I just don’t know how I could get rid of these constant worries and rumination.

  7. I think I just need a professional help, which unfortunately I cannot get

  8. When I sought counseling for my ocd my counselor told me that I needed to stop catastrophizing everything. I told him how I ruminate on things for far too long. He taught me that it's okay to have a thought. And that it doesn't define who you are. When I get really weird thought pop into my head. I think it and let pass. I know that that thought doesn't define who I am.

This is a paraphilia which should work with the method in my profile. Have you tried it yet?

Well if you are, it’s not the end of the world. It’ll be way easier for you to hookup and find a partner. Women are so hard to navigate sometimes. Lol :p

  12. Have u even tried to read what is written above… LoL

  13. If you are gay/bi nothing wrong with that it’s perfectly fine, but nah dicks do not attract me

If it's something that troubles you then why do you think you're gay? Do you feel regret about it or not?

  16. How? You literally have said multiple times that you aren't attracted to or aroused by men. You're not gay. Absolutely nothing you've said here makes you sound anything other than straight.

  17. Dude. You aren't gay. You just aren't.

  18. Lol whatever

  19. I’m pretty much gay at this point, so yeah it’s time to come out.

Sounds like curiosity to me, although some guys flick between being bi and straight (I believe I'm one of them tbh). I call it being sexually fluid, as your sexuality changes every now and again depending on what state you're in
