Sounds like your talking about brain fog you receive when giving up porn from withdrawals am I correct? Don’t you have brain fog when using also. I’ve been living in a constant fog for the last 10+ years from porn while using porn. I am also going through withdrawal brain fog as well.

  3. Literally came to write the same post.

My mind is surprisingly much clearer after pmo,

When I don't pmo , my mind is more foggy, if it is withdrawls who knows . But the initial days no pmoing I'm more tired and brain is more foggy..... there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel, there is a glimpse but I feel I'm away off, when I don't pmo , that brain fog everything else , is also accompanied with thoughts of women in real life . Which I guess is how it should be, to seek out a partner.

With pmo , you don't seek out , but there is less brain fog

Brain fog is probably a readjustment to reality . For example if you want a partner you work for it . If your a pmo addict , you myt be very one sided , some of your needs are met by pmo and you focus on other areas of life but not necessarily on relationships .

This is my interpretation as simplistic as it is.

I don't know when the brain fog goes . I'm day 3 , and brain fog/ tired and time seems to be passing me by quickly yet slowly ..I'll check my watch and what seemed like 10 mins was 2 hours and what felt like 2 hours was 10 mins. With pmo your saturating your brain for prolonged periods of time in dopamine . So times of boredom and time may take more getting readjusted to to feel more concious to time because you derive little dopamine from them ..ie brain fog.

My advice would be to exercise, take dopamine agonists, eat good , sleep plenty, hydrate, and focus your mind on other areas of stimulation until you are satisfied enough for the dog to clear

I’ve lived with the fog so long it’s what I know, living without brain fog seems like a life I can only dream of. Can’t wait until it’s gone for good I’m closing in on 1 year nofap hardmode, still more healing being done though.

I’ve been using PMO for over 10 years I’ve developed a heavy constant brain fog during my days where I was using. It clears quite a lot while still improving between my withdrawal phases during my current 347 day streak, but it’s been mostly withdrawals thus far.
