"Celebs" and Addictions?

Discussion in 'Off-topic Discussion' started by Deleted Account, Dec 18, 2021.

  1. So I've been hearing an awful lot about Elliesh online. There have been posts about her being addicted to "Violent Porn". I'm just wondering why this has got to be known to everybody. Especially the fans who feel "Sorry" for her. I'm sorry but I saw an interview of her with Dwight from The Office and she wasn't a peach. Allot of cussing and swears went off and I felt turned off from the interview, I don't believe that I finished it. Dwight even said "Watch your mouth little missy."

To me in my eyes I knew there was something wrong with her maybe it was my inner intuition. I'll be honest in that I say I don't feel sorry for her. Recently a popular wrestler of the name of Jeff Hardy got fired from WWE and surprisingly I feel sorry for him. Since he has a drug addiction and won't go to rehab. With the weight over 1,000 + fans over him. Not as it's the same for Elliesh.

Is it natural to come out with a Porn Addiction?

Is this actually good so other people can come out as well?

Is just another stab at gaining more fame for people to feel sorry for her?

I wanted to talk about this because I believe this is the first Celeb possibly to come out with such one like us.

I think it gets more attention that children at so young age get introduced to porn. There should at least be a way to male it more difficult to a children to not watch that stuff. Also, How is porn addiction any different than a drug addiction? Its the same wrong coping mechanism.

  3. I agree. I remember reading some of the stories from the site here and some people have been introduced around the age of 8. Your right on the addiction, perhaps I just feel as if it's something you should of just kept personal. But is she doing anything about it? Or is just media saying she's trying to fight it?

what does this mean? She isn't the first celebs to come out with a porn/sex addiction, i remember Chris Brown saying he got into it at around 8 and several other celebs also came out.

Yeah, I guess I would have liked to hear more about if she is doing anything about it now, since now she just told that these things happened.

Celebrity worship is part of the reason people feel sorry for her. I assume this person is in the spotlight. Profanity has become a staple in modern media culture.

I wouldn't go to the point of feeling sorry. At the very least as porn addicts, we can extend an olive branch, in that we share a commonality in addiction and empathize. Regardless of her behaviour/status.

Whether it's natural or not is arbitrary. I believe her talking about it is a good thing, especially if she has a large audience. Exposing porn addiction to the mainstream media, as being legitimate, as opposed to being some myth. If she is aware her addiction is a problem, this a good step for herself and may be a good thing for her audience. This may encourage others to come forward. As for whether it's a publicity stunt, who knows? I don't see what a celebrity would have to gain from exposing something like that.

Terry Crews talked about his porn addiction a long while ago.
