9GAG is one of my favorite websites. I guess some of you know it. It's very funny and it helps to exercise my English. But I confess that sometimes I used some NSFW posts as substitute for porn. I will try to find a way to not see those posts, because I really don't want to stop viewing the site. Is there anyone with some experience on it? any suggestion?

I have experience friend. I quit 9gag because when I would get triggered I would go on those posts. It made things easier in the long run. It's truly up to you if you want to quit.

I know on Tumblr you can filter out NSFW posts, but I'm not sure about 9gag. Either way, maybe you could take a break from that site until you're sure that you won't be tempted.

There is an NSFW filter, but even with it there's plenty of triggers. I usually just scroll straight down to the next post when My eve catches a phrase or picture that I know my mother would never allow me to see or hear if she had the choice. I know it would be best if I gave up 9gag, but aside from YouTube it's basically the only thing I do on the internet (until now) and I've come to feel a sense of community with 9gag after "being" there for a while and posting memes and stuff. And if I can make 60 days while still 9gaging, I'll know I can handle all those sneaky ninja-triggers that pop up all over the place. Although that does kinda sound like just a semi-convincing justification.

It has the NSFW filter indeed, but many posts bypass it because they're not marked as NSFW. The easy solution is to scroll down, without allowing yourself to get aroused by the triggers. If you can't do it, it's better to quit, but I think it is a harsh solution and you should be able to avoid relapsing. Don't be afraid to feel aroused, learn to control your urges. I personally have no problems with the pictures, but I do get aroused sometimes. It's avoidable though.
