Hello there AlterEgo17. First of all I am very sorry to hear that you suffer from headaches after masturbation. There are a variety of reasons that this can be true.

The lack of the neurotransmitter dopamine is not one of them i'm afraid. The lack of dopamine in the brain would not cause any kind of a headache to my understanding, Tiemann, Heitmann, Schulz, Baumkotter, and Ploner (2014) perform a study on dopamine depletion influences on pain. They found that the depletion of dopamine changed the way one experiences pain, not the sensory aspects of pain.

On to why you are experiencing these headaches. Post orgasm headaches are caused by something called cerebral arterial narrowing (Valenca, et al. 2004). What does this mean? Well in more simple terms it means that an artery in your brain is getting smaller and therefor not allowing as much blood to pass through. This in turn causes a sensation of pressure that can be rather unpleasant and also cause headaches. If you are experiencing the headaches from anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours with a rather intense pain then this is what you can expect. I am afraid I am not trained in the field of treatment and it would be unprofessional to give you any advice on treatment but it is something you could look up yourself.

As a point of interest and something that you can be thankful for. Valenca, et al (2004) reported a case study of a woman that experienced these headaches for up to 3 days long.

Another more common explanation would be: If you are not partaking in healthy activity, moving around, working, exercising. Then when you all of a sudden masturbate you are going to be giving your heart and head a bit of a shock. The lack of water in your body due to the body remaining dormant will cause a sudden dehydration sort of affect. This in turn will cause the onset of a headache as your body wakes up again and starts pumping fluid to areas of your body that is needed.

Yes. Definetely. I got a vicious headache from realpsing two days ago.
Everytime I have sexual images in my head, I get triggered with a headache. This is not fun. Because of this, I have avoided porn all together. I embraced this headache because it will remind me in how awful I will feel when I relapse.

No, it's caused by creating an artificial arousment and being too strenuous while masturbating.

In normal passionate sex with a woman, you are aroused naturally, and the orgasm" flows" naturally out of you. Therefore, it's totally relaxing.

With masturbating, you are using your brain to create an artificial arousment, you must put "effort" into gettng an orgasm, and this gives the headache.

 

My case is really mysterious. I get these headaches only when I am in a city but not in other. I get 100% headaches when I am in city A but hardly 5% in city B.
