Thank you for sharing your story. Others will benefit from not feeling alone who have been in similar situations.

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

Thanks for your thoughtful reply, D.J.

My strategies could be more proactive. So far, I've been exercising more and longer, resumed contact with an old friend, reading more, getting ready to seek employment, taking care of some long neglected health issues, and been learning to avoid falling off the wagon with various strategies I've learned from reading others' journeys.

I'm learning that my struggle is due, mainly, to the poor choices I've made. This might not apply to some of the young'uns here, but for me, there's really no more excuses.

Thanks for sharing your story. By just sharing you help more than you can image or would give yourself credit.

Growing up I used to get screamed at a lot (by both parents but specially dad), so much so that I use to go faint in my room once the screaming was over.
On one of these aggressive days my dad screams "...cause you are not a man enough." That ripped me to shreds and till this day I can hear it as clear as the day he said it.
I was addicted with transwoman/sissy/futa porn too. Now I put regular effort to explore what it means to be a man and took on the nofap.
I Read and listening to Art of Manliness .com, Did LGBTH activism with a special focus on men's issues and male domestic abuse victims. Elliot Husle, London Reel, Starting Strength, Le Parcour De Combat, Joe Rogan, Jacko Willink, David Goggins, Karen Straughan to name from the top of my head.
Read great thinkers and philosophers of the 20th century Kant, Freud, Jung and Nietzsche etc.
Listening and scouring the net for Jordan B. Peterson and all his lectures (for me personally has had the most impact to help put myself back together.)

Sadly men no longer a traditional "rites of passage" but we have to create and cross the intellectual threshold ourself to transition, find and define manhood.

Wow, thanks for sharing @petercoiled ! You went from one fetish/ fantasy to another. No disrespect, but judging from your story you seem to be a bit psychotic. You take anything and interpret it so that it fits into your sexual fantasies.
But I believe you can solve this issue. Nofap surely will help.

Thanks for your responses. Psychotic sounds a bit harsh, but then again it applies to someone who isn't dealing with reality.
