I might be too young to be on here, but i just wanna type.
Backstory, i was sent to kenya for my 8th grade year, because i was such an immature idiot. In kenya, i had to school there. the teachers beat you, insanely hard subjects, and a zero tolerance policy. i hated it there. i went from the most social kid ever, to the quiet kid in the room. once i came back to america for 9th grade, i realized how different it was. i saw all my friends, and i wanted to socialize again. but i just..couldn’t. i couldn’t muster up anything. all my friends started to distance themselves from me. i got a porn addiction. i started hating myself. i also started gaining weight, and never left home. even some people i thought were my friends stopped talking to me and started making fun of me. and i can’t even blame them. i don’t know what to do.

  3. I guess I don’t really know why you went to Kenya? Schooling elsewhere is far different from America. It’s basically the vanilla of learning which means “light”.

One thing I can really say is.. Remember that person before you went. Remember that joyful social self you were before you got sent. The school might of changed you, yes. Teachers there had no tolerance for hitting a student. But the fact is you’re back now it’s not gonna hurt you anymore and you can continue your studies with a free mind.

I believe it made you sharp and more wise. You can’t let it cancel out your freedom here.

If you are in need of help we’re all here for practice on socializing.

I'm sorry for your condition, but don't be nor feel like a victim and most of all don't hate yourself!
You can be better that this, and it's up to you to live in the past or use that sh*t you went through to fuel your self improvement

If I were you i would focus on one problem at a time. Stay to the rules of NOFAP, commit yourself to reach a goal! You will see how many improvements you can have without pPMO addiction! Good luck!

I apologize for the late reply, as i kinda forgot to check this site. honestly i do think do the person i once was, and start to envy him. i tried to socialize in these few weeks, with no avail. i can’t relate to any kids my age, as they are interested in completely different stuff then me. but, i’m gonna try to learn new hobbies and activites in the meanwhile, and hopefully i’ll find the right group.

The reason i left to kenya, is because my mom parents think it’s ‘better’ at first they lied, saying we would only be there for summer vacation. then they said we are staying. This was a HUGE shock to me and my brother. so after a years worth of begging and pleading we went back. Also, my parents have never done american education. No clue why they thought kenya’s is better. their education is just they talk, you listen with a salt of physical abuse.

I’m sorry for the late reply, but thank you for the words of encouragement. i’ve been slowly coming out of bubble, thanks to this wonderful community.

  10. I dealt with enough physical abuse from the kids not really the teachers, but that’s another story. I think it does change us. I didn’t come out of my bubble until I was late into Junior year when I started to become so much more happier. It was like a longated dopamine rush. I’m glad your parents finally listened. If I dealt with both kids and teacher abuse I would have probably been in a facility trying to get better.

  11. Ok listen. I am a 49 year old mentally ill man. I have turned my life around, so can you.

Here's the plan. I want you to do a hard mode 90 day reboot. Cut back on your food, get going on your fitness. Go to the gym, get a personal trainer if you need to.

You got to get off of the porn, video games and social media if you want to change.

You'll definitely suffer, but it will pay in giving you strong confidence.

Hey man, dont know if youre still checking the site but start to do things you enjoy. I'll say something against some of the others so far: dont go backwards, dont look back on find memories, dont try to recover what you lost, it's gone forever.

You're not too young man, you're just early in the process. And I wish I took this forum more seriously when I was your age. This isn't the end of your life, it's the beginning. It's an opportunity to do something awesome and create a whole new person. Being 13 is hard, read some good books, one that helped me was 7 Habits for Highly Effective Teens. Keep moving forwards, and the earlier you start NoFap the further you will go in life.
