Everything else in my life is correcting it's self, but the PIED refuses?

I was heavily addicted to PMO for about a decade. Basically edging and binging on PMO more days than not for a decade.

I have issues with my mental health. But as it turns out when my PMO use massively decreased, over time my mental health kept getting better and better. It is now at the point I only have social anxiety and mild ocd. Where as I used to have severe issues with my mental health.

So the way I feel is everything in my is being corrected and fixed. I basically go long spells without any porn or artificial sexual stimulation at all, and when I do end up on porn and artificial sexual stimulation these days I more use it closer to a casual user who has never developed any issues with porn, who has never became addicted to porn, who has never developed PIED.

So basically most areas of my life are being fixed. But that PIED simply refuses to fix. It simply will not fix. It appears the only way to fix PIED is going an insane amount of time with no porn or artificial sexual stimulation at all, and likely no masturbation or hardly any masturbation at all.

Hey man, good to hear you are doing better mentally.
Sadly from what i've read here and elsewhere yes pied is going to take a while to go away, but look at the bright side once it is over you will feel a lot better about yourself because you have beat it not by giving in to pmo again but by resisting and fighting your way through it.

Andrew, I suggest that you put your focus on something else, other than your PIED.
Realize that with time, your erection will come back, all you have to do, is to keep yourself positive and productive, during this time period.

You should also use The Law of Attraction, if you really want to heal quickly. If you don't know what the Law of attraction is, I suggest you read the book The Secret.

It's not PIED refusing to fix itself, it's you refusing to accept what it takes to fix it, sorry if that sounds blunt but it's true.

You've massively cut down on the frequency of PMO which is great but it's still not enough. The 90 day reboot is recommended for a reason and that's because in most cases it works. What's the longest hard mode streak you've done since trying to quit? How are you still MO'ing when you apparently have PIED anyway? If you truly have PIED then surely you can't get hard/aroused enough to MO.

I'm not saying it's easy, if it was I wouldn't still be here but I can at least accept what needs to be done. If I go two weeks clean and then relapse I know that in my case at least I have wiped out those two weeks as if they meant nothing, it was only after two months that I saw genuine improvement and although I relapsed I could feel that I hadn't undone those two months but of course I relapsed a whole bunch more since then and now I really am back at square one again.

probably because you did't try a full reboot.
