Extreme Urges On NoFap

    Hello everybody im new to the forum before i knew about this community i was really addicted to PMO and it messed up my social and sex life in my teens and early 20s i then started doing NoFap for 7 days without even knowing it was a thing it helped alot. I still would have issues because of the porn watching but now i gave both up completely i went on a 67 day journey and had great sex with a girl. Did another 10 days and got a bj from a hot chick. Now im on day 17 and the urges suck, NoFap is def worth it but its REALLY hard i start to hit up lower standard chicks and even sometimes want a happy ending but im trying to stay strong. Most i might do is hit a lower standard girl anybody got some advice or similar stories.

    My advice is to stop edging.
    Edging is dangerous because it builds up unnecessary tension and urges are the manifestation.
    To me edging is dwelling on sexual thoughts for more than couple seconds.
    It is gazing or even fantasizing.
    Nofap and edging is like trying to accelerate while keeping your foot on the brakes... it ain't a smooth ride.

    You've got a very strict interpretation of edging. I think you are on the right path, denying of sexual thoughts or actions will prevent from building up of urges.
    There might be another path to go: to learn how to resist and control even extreme urges. The transmutation people here offer good advice in this. But it's a slow an tough path.
