At the moment, I feel like I'm in a good spot regarding my addiction. No longer constantly thinking about it, practicing other healthy habits, and feeling no serious withdrawal effects. The main reason porn has rarely been on my mind is that I have been focusing my energy into other things and have not had much time to PMO.

However, my school has recently announced it will be closed for the next 30 days in wake of the corona-virus outbreak. In the past, my relapses have almost always occurred during the holidays when I am spending a large amount of time at home with little to do, and this will be the same thing but to a much larger degree. I am worried that some time in the next month I may fall into a relapse/binge.

Is anyone else in a similar situation? and if so, any tips on how to make it easier?

don't be in your room unless you are sleeping, do not lay in your bed unless you are sleeping. Stay in the living room/ other common area that you have access to you. Get a book to read. there is a plethora of healthy things that you can keep yourself busy with.

I'm in a similar situation. I was planning on getting more involved in clubs and events in an effort to meet girls, but the school closure put a damper on that. I'm worried about how sitting at home is going to affect me.

The only advice I have is to keep busy. If your school is transitioning over to e-learning for the remainder of the semester like mine is doing, you will have homework and studying to do. Beyond that, if you have any hobbies, spend your time doing them. If you don't have any, now is a good time to find some.

Boys, I am in the same damn situation. We can't go to the gym because that shit aint sanitary. We can't go to school because the same damn thing. What are we suppose to do? Obviously we can do homework but that shit gets old quick. We can play a good amount of video games but same old same old. I think this is one of the biggest challenges we will face yet. This is our true fucking test and I can see this going really well or really bad. I get the itch to talk to females but I do not want to intitate over phone because that takes away the sweetness of person to person interaction of NoFap so that leaves me in a tough spot. What have you guys been doing to pass the time? Anything cool? Shit share anything because I'm open to try different things.

It is honestly terrible, I do not know what to do with myself. These damn days are going forever.

  7. To some of us staying at home is going to be just another excuse. "I PMO'd because I they told me to say at home, and I always fail when I'm at home for too long!"
Correction: you failed because you let your mind trick yourself into believing in that stupid excuse.
Remember: during your reboot there will be PLENTY of times when you have to stay at home for longer. Guess what, that is NO excuse to fail. NONE AT ALL! It's just another element of your life.
Tips: listen to all the clever guys above. So: don't stay in bed, keep yourself busy etc.
Additional tips: cold showers, working out, watching motivational videos, pray, read our threads etc.
Also, take it like a challenge. Life won't be easy until you decide to make it easy by getting rid of that addiction.
To sum up: THERE ARE NO EXCUSES.

When I was busy with school/sports I would only be at home for about 3 hours before I had to go to bed. Working out, studying, and preparing food/clothes for the next day took about all that time up. So it was kinda like I had some training wheels on to help me not think about PMO, and now I will have to constantly face it head on.

Today I got the idea to start going outside more. The forest is about a 1 minute walk away from me so I might start working on landscaping, gardening, climbing trees, etc. Just need to stay vigilant and not listen to the cheap excuses your brain constantly feeds you I suppose.
