Fury, Rage, & Retribution: THE FIRE HAS RISEN

Discussion in 'New to NoFap' started by Sekhmet the Fury Bringer, Feb 16, 2017.

  1. I HEREBY INVOKE YOU SEKHMET.

IN MY PROGRESS, IN THEIR PROGRESS, IN THE WAR AT HAND.

  2. Who am I? Doesn't matter. I'm like you if you're against porn and are trying to quit fapping. I'm not here to gain 'superpowers', some of you people don't even understand what those are. It's sad you marketed such a thing. This issue is serious it's not some child's play. Superpowers aren't gained by people recovering from using porn and masturbation. It takes years and years of austere spiritual training and moral development to come close to unleashing any innate powers inside you that would resemble what you people have misconstrued as 'superpowers'. Not you users, the one in charge. Lol, some of you probably laugh at the word but many young people think they exist. Well whose to say they don't? But selfishly trying to quit porn for the sake of gaining a superpower is nonsensical. I'm not going to discuss this with someone it's kind of a one way statement.

One day at a time in our progress my dear fellow users. Staying in the present moment in the most beneficial thing we can do, looking to the past or future is fruitless in recovery unless it is to understand or plan from time to time perhaps.

This video really speaks deeply to me about why watching porn is so important to overcome:

I bring peace, light, and truth for those of you trying to never watch porn again. I bring something else for others. Glad to have joined the community.

  3. I see they no longer list the term on the site homepage. This has been discussed in the past no doubt, I just wanted to restate it.

You cannot be pro-porn and sex positive. This is a secular, sex positive, and 100% science based community, indeed.

100% anti-porn? I beg to differ. The war is here.

  4. Let's start here.

“I believe that secularism is not the enemy of spirituality. Our spirits are in fact secular and free. But the enemy of your spirit is materialism which produces legalism. People scramble for the "perfect law" in order fix everything, while failing to see that law only points towards what is material. And so, people find themselves going around in a circle that will never end. The key is to break away from that circle. You have to begin focusing your attention onto what is inside you and what is inside everybody else. This will in turn produce common sense, intuition, and understanding. Then comes strength.”

Yes, I love how 'anti-spiritual' the site tries to market itself. It's not really against spiritual people, there's a ton here as I can see. It's amazing how welcomed they are with how the site boldly declares it is secular and science based LOL. That's nice.

  5. I was called here. I'm on a 'progress run'. Will do my time and leave. I hope it's mutually beneficial. Talking to a screen can only get you so far in life though.

  6. Talking to a screen as your sole method of recovery support? Deadly.

  7. Off to my new thread.

Oh, and almost everything we know about addiction is WRONG.

My recovery happens offline. My support is offline. I'm just here to bring my knowledge, strength, and hope into my new thread for those who lack those things right now.

    Strength And Light likes this.

It is undeniable. I also think that would be the key to live this life happily.
    Just "here" and "now"
