    Just an idea,

But what if the government funded internet filters and parental controls. If there is a barrier to access through costs the government could pay certain companies to provide services to the public. This circumvents the narrative of "cancel culture" but gives the public a choice in whether or not they want that content to appear on their, or their families browser.

    Just an idea

Some internet providers, mobile phone providers already do this. Block adult content by default. Then there is other internet service providers, mobile phone providers that don't block adult content by default, but they still give you the option to block adult content.

I personally think every device, internet provider should block adult content by default, and if you want to go out your way to turn the adult content block off then you can.

That isn't much to ask. Like kids shouldn't be picking up a brand new device and instantly be able to access pornographic websites. No it should be blocked by default. No doubt about it.

But you get some people that would complain about what I am saying, and they would say it is internet censorship. But in reality it's far from it. If you're over 18 and the account holder you can turn the adult content block off. I really don't understand what the problem is with that?

The only way I would see why it is a problem is if adult content was blocked with no way to turn it off for the people over 18 who are the account holders. Then yeah I guess that would be fair to complain about, and call internet censorship.

But some people seem to be in the opinion that pornographic content must be accessible to everybody by default, which includes kids, and if you disagree with that then they will say things like it's against human rights and is internet censorship.

  3. In France, they had a voluntary charter with tech companies, ISPs, and the adult movie industry. A fancy way of saying a pledge to not allow minors to view porn. They perform age verification by using your credit card number to access the website. As a part of the agreement, in case of any wrongdoing on the adult movie industry. France will sanction companies that don’t comply with the order as well as blocking access to websites with a court order.

You may think that sounds like a promising solution to stop minors from watching porn. But I don’t know how it would work here in the US.

  4. The only problem with this, is that they use porn to keep men weak. And subdued.
Great idea but the powers that be love the p industry as it emasculates men.
We would have a great society if it wasn't plagued with weakness.
There would be stronger relationships, marriages and in turn Father's would have a better name.
But many believe that self pleasure is a right.
And they waste their God given strength for a few fleeting moments.
It does the same job as castration.

Protip keep at the nofap journey.
You will grow into the person you have always supposed to have been.
