    Hello NoFap!

My name is Adam. I am 25 years old and I am currently situated in Nottinghamshire, England. Right now, I am experimenting with a combination of both celibacy and NoFap, and I'm hoping to improve my lacklustre visual and mental celibacy skills inspired by brahmacharya. Today is my fourth day after having sex on my previous run's thirty-fourth day (despite that, I still know celibacy is the right course of action for now)! Looking forward to sharing my experiences with you all in the Reboot Logs section. I'm using YouTube, Twitter, WordPress and Soundcloud as creative platforms. I'm also looking forward to breaking my previous 33-Day run this time with your support! Feeling inspired and committed. I'm quite late to sign-up to the actual forums despite struggling with NoFap for ages. So here I am and thanks for having me on board :)

    Best,
    Adam

About breaking your previous 33-day run, please read this post by William: http://www.rebootnation.org/forum/index.php?topic=1256.msg64262#msg64262
You can stop being an addict, but it's not going to be easy. Have you ever seen the TV-series "The Walking Dead"?
If you haven't, it doesn't matter, but I'll ask you three questions:
    1) What books have you read about quitting an addiction?
    2) What's your action plan?
    3) Why do you want to stop being an addict?

    Why these three questions?

    1) You need a solid theoric formation to know what sort of changes your body and your mind are going to experience during each period.
    2) You must know which are your "triggers" and how you're going to defend yourself against them.
    3) You need a very strong reason to stop the addiction forever, because temptation and doubt are always on the horizon.

I can recommend you the following books:
    Rational Recovery, Jack Trimpey.
    Changing for Good, James Prochaska.
When Bad Things Happen to Good People, Harold S. Kushner.
Man's Search for Meaning, Viktor Frankl.
    Plato, Not Prozac, Lou Marinoff.
Philosophy for Life and Other Dangerous Situations, Jules Evans.
A Slap in the Face: Why Insults Hurt And Why They Shouldn't by William B. Irvine.
On Desire: Why We Want What We Want, William B. Irvine.
A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy by William B. Irvine.
The Conquest of Happiness, Bertrand Russell.
The Antidote: Happiness for People Who Can't Stand Positive Thinking by Oliver Burkeman

If you can only read two, read "Rational Recovery" and "Changing for Good". If you can only read one, read Prochaska's book.
If you follow the links that are below my signature, you're going to find step-by-step strategies to overcome this addiction. At least, those worked for me.
My approach is based in an abrupt cut with the addictive substance, that is, dopamine.
Begin with short goals. If you can only last two days without MO/PMO, set a goal to three days. After you reach that goal, set your next goal for another three days. I began with 10 days, as I only used to last one week.
Write by hand or print a sheet of paper with your reasons and strategies, something that you can read quickly and take everywhere with you. Read it when you get up and when you go to bed. Take it with you to your bathroom. Remember, always remember WHY you're doing this.
NoFap is not a game, it's a completely life changing experience. It's going to hurt, it's going to cost, but it can be done.
My best wishes in this new path that you have chosen to walk.

    Galaxim.
