I’m 25 years old and I’ve been an user since I was 15. I thought P never had a big impact in my life until I met my girlfriend, we have been together for 3 years now and I’ve had failed her several times so it was then when I realized I couldn’t stop and that I need advice. She is the reason I want to quit using P. I’m just starting in all this so it is 0 days for me.

I’m getting through a hard time now with her because of my addiction so I want to stop this for her.

Thank you for reading and for the opportunity to be part of this!!.

P.D. Sorry if I’m lame but there have been better days

There us hope, so don't be tempted to despair. It sounds like you have recognized that you have a problem with P. That's a really good place to be. You are also motivated to change or you wouldn't be on this site. A new Dawn beckons. I'm new too btw. Keep strong RUAR07!

It's a good thing you want to quit porn, but my suggestion is that try to find stronger reasons to quit porn. She is very important in your life, but you are the one who is being damaged because of porn. Every day you keep doing it, your brain keeps wiring harder all these crazy paths that will make you a stronger addict. Find the values that porn is making you break. For example supporting an industry that is exploiting and ruining all these young girls; having a doble life, failing on your responsabilities, spending your youth time doing something empty, which doesnt make you a better person, or make anyone better, time you could be spending to study, to help... These are just some examples that come to my mind. My point is that I beleive that quiting porn requires a lot of strong reasons. I say it because I have been there, trying to just quit because someone else, without understanding the real reason why I should have quitted, now I get it, and that gives me strenght. I wish you the best on this battle.
