Hey whats going on. Just wanted to quit porn as it has became a habit. Its really messing with me. I am a person who respects women but watching mainstream pornography makes me sick of myself. Watching these videos which describe women as sex objects, sluts , property to own and watching them knowing all that after knowing all horrors of porn industry, really makes me sick of myself. I wanna change myself but have failed to do so time to time. I have tried but after 3 to 4 days i find myself masturbating to the same porn that i hate so much. I feel like a hypocrite or to be true i am one. On one side I talk of equality, women empowerment and on the same day I may be masturbating to internet porn searching for things that should not be done to anyone. New fetishes fetish after fetish and it only gets worse and you know that supply is endless and there is porn available for whatever you search for. I wanna stop but I do not know how? Can I change?

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

You can change but it is a process.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

I am currently trying to more and more time with people rather than being alone.
Other than that I am trying to stay away from the internet. I have not watched porn today but I searched about things related to it that can lead me to watch porn. But then i visited the site and saw your post. It definitely saved the day. I am thinking about applying a porn blocker(can you suggest one).
Can you advise me other things which I can do from your experiences.

@Rebooter45674 Welcome to our community. Joining NoFap is one of the most wholesome steps towards recovery. I know how you feel. You can be a preacher outside but no one is accountable for you in your inner-rooms. This feeling-- one in the heart and one in the tounge-- is aweful. But you have to realize that it is not you who is bad. It's pornography. It is nasty and addictive. It slowly hijacks every mental strength you have and corrodes it. It controls your brain. Your brain literally attacks your mind. Breaking free of this cycle is hard, real hard, but oh so much worth it. Keep it up! Best wishes. We are here to help and receive help
