Hit with loneliness during power outage.

A storm from the beginning of the week has knocked out the power and suddenly I’m sitting alone in a dark house. It dawned on me how much I depend on the television for sort of this false sense of having company around me. Even when I’m not paying attention to it, I can always here those voices in the background that always makes me feel not so alone. I’m thinking of keeping the tv off even when the power comes back on so that I’ll be forced to get out and interact with real people.
