How to overcome loneliness?

A lot can be written about this, but I advise you to just watch instead

 

It has nothing to do with your being with a girl or not being with a girl - you would be unhappy and ultimately alone even if you had a girl, and the relationship would probably crumble as well. The real problem at hand is learning to be comfortable with yourself, to grow in character and virtue, to relish the true power that solitude can bring you, which of course never means that you cut off socialization with people. Rather, when you are happy being alone and in being with other people (no social extremes either), then you are a better man who will both attract a woman of similar values and will be able to build a relationship on such a strong mutual foundation. Hence, while you are single at this time, make the most of it to be the best man you can be (a man of all seasons), a principal, present task being to rid yourself of all immature and destructive addictions in your life, PMO especially. What a valuable time this is for you! Be happy with yourself; then, you'll be in the position to be happy with a partner and contribute to her happiness as well. Best wishes!

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think you are focusing on the wrong definition of loneliness. Maybe you are thinking “ I m lonely because I don’t have a girlfriend”. But buddy having no girlfriend doesn’t mean you are lonely, it’s having no one to share your feelings and have fun with is what truly makes you lonely. And
having close friends and family members around you is enough.

More importantly people get lonely if they don’t try to get to know another person. For example you are in a party and if you sit in the corner and thinking that you are lonely while everyone around you is having a nice chat with one another , then the only thing that’s stopping you is not trying to know them.

By your English I realised that you are not a native speaker like me and also have a hard time expressing yourself( I m assuming). Don’t worry you are doing fine , expressing yourself is a matter of practice. You can find enough materials only to communicate effectively.

As for getting a girlfriend , I m no expert. I have been single for 7 years now. But being good at communicating will definitely give you some boost in getting a girlfriend. And previous advices would also do you some good.

@Weird Ram You are much younger than I. I would encourage you to get involved in activities that include women your age. For example I'm taking group swing dance lessons. Just started and I'm terrible. But the opportunity just to TOUCH a woman can be WONDERFUL.
