  1. Hi my name is Nick Tangeman and I have been addicted to porn ever since my sophomore year of high school and have tried to quit for a long time, but it just keeps coming back. Also I am a Baptist Christian and am hugely involved in the church while also having friends in the church that also deal with this as well I am very talkative about this issue towards many of my friends and family, and is something I avoid keeping a secret as I am not ashamed to talk about it. I need some strategies to help begin to overcome my porn addiction as I am going to be heading into my last year of college and will be focusing on my future career after that.

Welcome. You've come to the right place. There's a lot of Christian guys on here, trying to sort ourselves out. Accountability, and community really help. Do be aware we also have (more than) our fair share of guys who seem to just want to punish each other with scripture (perhaps I'm cynical) . You don't have to join in with every debate you're invited to ...

Otherwise, I'd recommend setting up a journal thread, so you can see your progress, identify stuff you need to avoid, get advice etc.

    Blessings and good luck
