I've lost track of how long I've been porn-free and masturbation-free.

I think that's how I've been able to become successful. I stopped counting days, I stopped anticipating end dates (goals), and I started to just live the porn-free life.

It was hard at first. The first week was the hardest. I felt like a crackhead that week, constantly thinking about doing the deed. As the weeks passed, the urges got weaker and weaker.

This month I've thought about watching porn twice, and both times I've told my mind "NO", and moved on with the day.

Exercise helped at first by helping me focus all of that sexual energy on something else, while still improving on my health. Eventually, exercise became a routine, no longer just for the refocusing of my sexual energy, but a lifestyle.

Summary: I stopped counting days, started building good habits, and am now in a better place. Mentally, spiritually, physically, I just feel better.

I believe counting days actually keeps the idea of "it" in your head. When you stop thinking about it all together, even the thoughts of counting days goes away, and there's no longer anything to keep track of. Everything associated with porn goes away. At least that's my experience. Good luck to you all!

  2. And that's exactly how it should be. Great job man, we're proud of you.
Hoping to achieve this level of feeling better mentally, spiritually, physically soon :D

    Keep it up!
